John Taylor is perhaps the most important jazz pianist to come out of the UK. His career holds prestigious seats in various groups and tours featuring Jan Garbarek, Enrico Rava, Gil Evans, Peter Erskine, Palle Danielsson and legendary Lee Konitz as well as the Ronnie Scott’s Quintet. He is known as a virtuoso beyond technicality on the keys. John Taylor has the ability to deliver the timing and respect the space, yet create logic in music. At the Montmartre he meets with fellow UK musician Gerard Presencer who is quickly becoming the new fresh name on trumpet in Copenhagen. On the Friday and Saturday concerts he connects with the Montmartre soul, and old colleagues, when he teams up with drummer Alex Riel and bassist Mads Vinding.

Thursday: In UK duo with Gerard Presencer. Friday and Saturday: In trio with Mads Vinding and Alex Riel.
