Stjernespækket line-up til Peaky Blinders-soundtrack

Peaky Blinders’ første soundtrack er stjernespækket med kæmpe rocknavne

BBCs succesfulde tv-serie Peaky Blinders har netop annonceret sit første soundtrack, der udkommer den 15. november.

Radiohead, David Bowie, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Arctic Monkeys, PJ Harvey, White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Joy Division og mange flere bidrager alle med musikken til gangster-seriens nye soundtrack. Nummeret “Red Right Hand” af Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds er seriens titelsang og er selvfølgelig også inkluderet.

Peaky Blinders-soundtracket indeholder i alt 49 sange fra en lang liste af kunstnere og byder på tidligere uudgivne sange fra Richard Hawley, Jehnny Beth fra Savages og PJ Harvey, der blandt andet bidrager med et cover af "Red Right Hand".

Black Sabbath medvirker også på soundtracket efter, at bandet blev brugt i femte sæson af Peaky Blinders. 

"Vi byggede et musikbibliotek, som vi satte op mod forskellige scener. Black Sabbath føltes bare som en no-brainer. Jeg sad bare og tænkte: Hvorfor er de ikke blevet brugt før?", udtalte seriens instruktør Anthony Byrne i forbindelse med brugen af Black Sabbath i serien.
