U2 åbner turné med succes

Lørdag aften (24-03) åbnede Bono, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr. og the Edge – U2 – deres “Elevation Tour 2001”, som også bringer dem til Danmark 6. og 7. juli. Stedet var the National Car Center i Ft. Lauderdale, og her havde U2 droppet deres tidligere stort anlagte lys- og lydshow. Istedet lod U2 musikken tale, og det gjorde de med succes gennem hele 22 numre. Det var:
